i went to the ups store to try and ship an agm battery yesterday, and they told me they can't ship a lead acid battery from anyone that doesn't have a hazmat.

but i know that people do this all the time. wtf?

Fedex gave the same shit, even though their brochures say they accept sealed batteries. I ended up having to go to the fedex hub to drop it off because the **** at fedex/kinko's wasn't having it

Simply print a label @ home.

Take to drop off location.

Smile and walk away as they read it weighs 60+ lbs.
