i was in my garage last night and i found a few sheets of 1/4th or 1/2th inch thick blue foam insulation. is there anywhere on in my car i could effectively use this? like covering the box, or as ghetto deadener (itll be a few months i think tell ill get some, money troubles) or should i just leave the stuff alone?

well heres two ideas i had: covering the outside of my box with it (have no clue what that woudl do to the sound) and the flat parts of my floorboard. are iether worth it in the least? i already have this stuff so cost isnt a concern

im bolting my amp rack behind my sub box, would it be beneficial to have a sheet of this between box and amprack to help with vibration?

and would the floor panel thing work or would the benefit be neglible
