I thought it would be a good idea to get to distribution block for the positive and the negative 4g wire in the car. Is that righ tor wrong?

yes, this is right when u run more than one amps. i also suggest getting one that has fuses built into it so each amp is on it's own fuse rated for the power it will draw, and make sure u put another fuse up by the batt.

+1, take your time, do it right, and it will sound great. it's a PITA do deaden the doors, but it will help alot
