I shave in the shower and make sure my skin is warm and so is the blade, use bar soap, and shave. Actually works very well and never burns.

Sometimes i give up, because then i have to shave my thigh by my junk, and then my balls, taint, etc. Just gets to be too much sometimes.

I've also found that right after shaving if i rub some tobasco sauce in my hands together and then apply it like a balm it really does wonders for the itch. Some times i make sure to stroke the shaft a couple times too. Thats not really on account of the itch though.

you have to stroke it to stop it from shrinking, otherwise its really tricky to shave the shaft when its all wrinkly
