Shaved Blazer Trim Panel and Custom AirBag Cover

Here is what a stock trim piece looks like..........

The vent wheel was shaved on the left side. The 4x4 delete panel at the top right. The airbag switch panel under that.

Also the vent wheels for the center vents are gone and that was built up and out to match the contours of the vents.

Here is a pic of it...........

Th guy also wanted a cover for the passenger side airbag. Something to cover the airbag up for shows but not be permenant.

 

So I took one, airbag cover, out of the 99 s10 I have and made a mold of it with fiberglass..........

Then I spread some Duraglass to stiffen it some, but not to much since it needs to keep some flexability to it..............

Cut out the design he wants on it, position it, epoxy it in.........

Grab some Rage filer, blend everything in and smooth the piece out. Throw some Primer on it. Call it a masterpiece.

 

 

OK, just call it done then.
