sharpton vs imus

its the logical outcome of your argument.. its ok to sacrifice the poor to save the rich...
You use the word sacrifice in a different context. Is it okay to kill the poor to help the rich, of course not.

Should the rich be penalized (by paying higher taxes [in amount, not income proportional]) of course not.

Had I dropped out of school and knocked up a bunch of hoes, my tax and income situation would be better off.

Instead I chose to go to school and work a second job to build a dervative fund. My reward? the AMT.

I fail to see your logic. It was never insinuated that its ok to sacrifice the poor to save the rich. Please re-read thread. :p Remember what happens when you "assume" don't you? Who does this make *** of again? :p

You know as well as I, that you would think any source he provided would be bias.

probably because any source he would use would be biased //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I'm not even arguing that he is wrong.. just wondering if he could produce any reputable source..

The subjectivity of radio talk show host and conservative internet forums are certainly questionable.

He is arguing that the right and moral thing to do, in times of natural disaster or terrorist attack, is to save the rich first.
Logically, they would provide the highest and best use of the available resources due to their experience and education. Would they use it in such a manner to provide for the general welfare, I doubt it.

For instance, all there was left after a natural disaster is a cup of seeds. How many would eat the seeds vs. how many would plant the seeds. How many people have you seen pay a premium on goods/services do to their ignorance and not thinking ahead.

On this forum, how many times have you seen people buy the newest boner sub and then sell at a loss. I may have bought and sold, but I always break even.

Also, I really have nothing to say to flip about tax structures and economics.. i don't really feel like a public pwning right now.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i think he could actually back up what he has to say with credible sources... and that frightens me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I was wondering why I didn't get a reply.

I did figure you would get a laugh out of the "Soylent Green is people!" comment.

Wrong again. Was never stated or insinuated. I guess some people only see what they want to see huh guys? Laugh:p Using your logic, I think it's fair to say that Imus is a devout racist, who hates all black people.
