I just got my pg ryval series amp in off of ebay and i thought it would be putting out 150 X 2 like it said on the page, but its only 75rms X 2 like the pryamid amp (lack of research) i bought about 2 years ago. Will this be enough to power my pg rsd6.5s? and you think this amp is underrated?

Unfortunately, PG really likes to advertise max power. They make it difficult to find out the RMS power rating. I don't know they underrate their amps or not.

The RSd65cs comps are power hungry, and benefit from the extra power. Not sure about the rsd65 coaxials.

oo yea i have the comps, i just don't want my frontstage to sound like crap. Hopefully they'll be better then my jensen coaxials and that pryamid amp. I'm pretty sure the comps rms are 70 but i've heard people putting 150 on them so i bought this amp. This amp does 120rms at 2ohms, to bad i could get that wattage. Hopefully this amp is way underrated

It won't sound like crap. It'll just be a little quieter than before.

not much of anything will sound worse than jensen co-axes on a pyramid amp. that's a good upgrade. install it right and set the amp correctly, and it'll sound good.
