Project: F350 begins...
Neighbors across the street gave us a call this evening. Apparently, in the past 12 days or so, the houses across the street have had SEVEN break-ins! Four were in these two homes that are just being put up for saleby the owners, and two were into a lady and her child's home (husband works out of state). Not sure where the last one was.
Its kind of a weird breaking-in thing tho. Considering the population of this town is like 6 thousand, and we are on the outskirts of town, only 12 houses in the neighborhood. And one of our neighbors is a retired cop. He said most thieves will break in somewhere, steal a lot of things, then flee the area. This guy/guys has broken into the ladies home twice, where once he was "caught" by the lady (with no evidence really tho), and he claimed his car broke down. So far the lady is missing some jewelry she left on her kitchen counter and a jar of change, and power tools are missing from the houses going up for sale. He finds something on the tables, grabs it, then runs. Amateur i guess?
We got some scrap on em tho luckily. The breakins are ussually around 4-6AM. My dad is up around 3:30 for work, and i get up around 5:30. And rumors say that the two vehicles are an old beatup blue sedan and a turquoise SUV.
We called the police about all this, and they said they would "come around when they could". Apparently, there is only two cops that patroll our area due to such a small residency within like a 3 mile radius or something? ridiculous.
Cant wait to start writing down license plate numbers and gettin a lil friendly. No one's gettin into my stuff
