i'm buying this.. and I don't even listen to soad anymore.. much less rock. the man has got a voice though :/.. sounds good.

yes and no. i feel they were kinda slipping slowly away from their original shit. dont get me wrong i loved thier last 2 albums, but they werent even close to the first album. The guitarist Darien had always written alot of thier shit, but he seemed to try and have more influence in the last 2 albums. And that direction is kind of toned down from the good old school shit from SOAD. I think Serj's shit will be cool and i'm definitly buying it.

any thoughts on this album? It has been released and no comments on the forum yet. I'm just listening to it all for the 1st time, detinately a step in the right direction for him!
