Surfing the web and what not went to ROE and seen the Lanzar 4000d amp guts, and under the title is says The circuit board and what not was the same as the Soundstream XXX6500,This is a Lanzar (which I high respect,love their bang for buck and pretty solid amp)but could it put out the same as the soundstream which is well more than twice the price of the Lanzar???

Same board does not = same amp

The components on the soundstream could be completely different from the lanzar, thus pretty much making it a completely different amp.

But in the right hands, the lanzar puts out GOBS of power.

The Opti series is their best as I understand it.

The Vibes and other lines are not so good...

Soundstream and Lanzar don't make the boards, they order them from asian manufacturers super cheap and put them in their own heat sinks.

A duck is duck no matter what kind of hat you put on it.

TommyK90 Thats what I figured,but I know Soundstream is up there in rankings (maybe as far as I am concerned )with durabillity, do thier rated power, and semi affordable(still get bang for the buck)and I like lanzar, only proplem I had was one of mine and another one was my friends,was the cooling fans just stopped working,but had no trouble gettin a new one and sold it to some kid I went to schoo withl and he hasnt had a proplem with it yet.So I figure the same quality main parts transferred into a different case for a great price should be fine by me.

optidrives are beasts to be lanzar, even the subs arent to bad...they're good bang for the buck products none the less
