I think I might use "Box design is crucial to get the most performance out of subwoofers", and I will explain exactly what specifications tell you, and why you have to use a specific box built around the subwoofers specifications. It's commonly overlooked by morons, who assume more watts = louder system.
That also brings up the idea of "Amplifiers that draw high current at a certain voltage are unable to produce thier maximum output without a sufficient charging system". This is also something that is usually not thought of by those that aren't car audio literate, and just want a system that people can hear.
Stereotypes against people with speakers. critics say that its all in how you use the speaker. proponents say the majority use high power systems irresponsibly. the StLouis thing might make a good focus.
This is another one that I was thinking about. Exactly what is the St Lous thing you are referring to?
DSP in audio -- comment on the rise of digital processing in audio. make notes about advantages (consistency) and disadvtages (rounding noise).
Also a good topic, granted there is enough information on the subject.
48V car audio -- the new 48V standard will likely require class D amplifiers (or SMPS) to improve so an efficient amp can fit in the car and be used with the 4ohm speakers that exist in the market.
I like this too, but again, I will have to further research to see if there will be enough available information.
I would strongly advise you against writing on anything car audio related. No offense, but I don't think at 17 years old and with fairly little car audio experience or understanding of physics, you can come up with a coherent thesis regarding an advanced concept in the industry.
But hey, I could be wrong
I'm 18, I admit I don't have the most knowledge, the only personal experience I have is my own stereo. I have studied BCAE1.com for countless hours, just because I want to learn about what I like. So, even if it is an advanced concept, I think that with enough research and learning I could come up with a completely sufficient thesis. Thats what I want to do--learn. So no matter how advanced it is, I am willing to learn about the concepts, and everything that requires understanding under the concept to understand the actual concept.
wow that was confusing lol
