On my alpine HU, i dont use the MX button but whenever I get friends in the car they always hit it "because the subs get twice as loud"...then they have the nerve to crank up the gain knob, then the volume knob when another car is near...

LOL, I know exactly what yout talkin about. Plus my girl thought the whole idea of subwoofers were to shake the shit out of other people's car and be cool and all. She was mad at me for a week when I used 2 rolls of RAAMmat in the car....stupid bish.
