Hey guys,

Just advice wanted from people who have been here longer than myself. I have two ppl look at an amp I want to sell and they both basically just signed up today. I was wondering what some of you do to keep from getting scammed from selling? I know one thing is to obviously use PayPal. But beyond that, any ideas?

Don't ship until the money is in your possesion. If he pays by money order, don't do anything until you actually cash it and are holding the money.

And screen capture every email or IM between you and the buyer.

Also if possible require a signature for delivery.

I have had problems with paypal. Ppl pay then they take the payment back I dont know how buts its some bs. So watch for this

nope this happend to me not that long ago... it was like 400 bucks I took it out and next day I check its -400 bucks and Iam still dealing with paypals so called resolution center..

don't ship item unless u have m.o. shipped knowing it's good . Also cash in hand even local don't do half pay now half later cause some people will run off.

Don't ship until you have the cash in your hand or in your bank account.

OUT OF PAYPAL...

and always ship with insurance/signature so that when they try to scam you you have proof of delivery and shipping and everything etc...
