Soundstream MC 245 5 channel old school amp

Recently repaired and modified to be more stable and do double the power.

Spent $250 on mods and repairs.

I think that does it. I am looking to sell each as a package or as a whole lot. I could sell each item individually, but the soundstream amp will only be sold with my whole system. If I am breaking stuff up, my son wants the 5 channel. The battery will only be sold with the amp.

For my system I am looking to get $2000 or best offer for all of it. Retail on all of this equipment is over $3400. That’s 4-12” orions (used only about 3-6 months in a daily car), 1- Orion HCCA D5000 amp (brand new in the box), custom box for the subwoofers, optima yellow top battery, 2- runs of 1/0 power wire, and the soundstream 5 channel amp. I ran this system once on the meter at the shop with another D5000 in my first gen CRX with no tuning and port tuned for daily @35hz, I did a 150.36DB outlaw in the kick. It’s a great system and plenty loud for daily usage.

For the wife’s system I am looking to get $650 or best offer. The system is about 9 months old except for the amp which I bought off a fellow employee who had it sitting around. The amp has never given us any problems and does the power it is rated at. Great sounding system and it gets loud. In the trunk of the Saturn with this box we can do 145.8 db outlaw. With a different box we were able to do 148.8 last season on 2-10’s in a trunk.

just a note on the JBL, it does 1200 wrms @ 2 or 1 ohm, it does 600 wrms @ 4 ohms...

No offense bro, but your going to need to lower your prices significantly before you get any interested. You say retail on ur wife's subs is 250, box is 150, and amp is 250. That adds up to 650. So pretty much your charging retail price on your wife's used car audio system. I hate to price knock, but in this case I think it's neccesary for you to sell your items.

So pretty much your charging retail price on your wife's used car audio system. I hate to price knock, but in this case I think it's neccesary for you to sell your items.

Subs are $250 each new, since there are two at $250 each= $500+box @$150+amp $250 used = $900 total retail. Also I remember saying or best offer.

those JBL amps are 1 ohm stable??? i thought they were only stable to 2.

nope, it will do 1 ohm also....says it in the manual, makes same power as 2 ohm...

I've seen other's state that it actually does a little more power at 1 ohm though...

hello, i sent you a pm hours ago about the eclipse 15's. What is wrong with them? Fried coil? Work at all?

I sent an email with pics, I think. Anyways the cones are split coils seem fried too. We had them laying at the shop that were left and going to be tossed but I grabbed them with the intention of reconing them and possibly getting bigger motors, but figured since I was selling everything I might as well get rid of everything I have laying around.
