129,000 members. and not one of you know how awesome this head unit is.
Iv only been playing with it for about an hour but so far I am very impressed!
The unit came fitted with a 2 german plugs and was literally as easy as plugging it in. My plug fit in both sides of the unit but I only have 1 factory plug, im not sure if its only half plugged in at the moment but it powers on.
Bought a back up camera for the unit but it did in fact interface with my stock back up camera, so that immediately started working.
Also the steering wheel controls GAINED OPTIONS!? wtf I now have a volume bar on my LCD speedometer, which is in no way part of the unit.
NO ALERTS! my LCD screen turns a bright red when it detects something bad. I was terrified by severing the fiber optic loop I would make my error messages go crazy, but nothing my car seems to have no problems integrating with the unit.
If you dont want to find a mold or alter your factory dashboard I (as of this moment) highly reccomend this unit. ill post a few pics of the unit when i get to my phone.
ill update this as i start hooking up the extras (DVR, computer diagnostics, wifi).
