how close it TOO close when to comes to terminals? I just got my 1/0-4awh adapters I am going to use on my Z1 and due to the size they are VERY close together. they are not touching but I remember once I was REALLY close to an electric fence and I got zapped without actually touching it. So, I am concerned that it will "jump" more or less and arc.

I was thinking something as simple as heat shrink would protect it enough but no one around here has anything bigger than like 10awg.... Black tape just looks like shit and I don't want to leave them bare and take a chance of something arcing and ruining my day!

I would use 3M heat shrink rated for 600V - color coded.
That is exactly what I want to do but where can I find it big enough? the terminals are 3/4", biggest I have found locally is 10awg...

N/M, google is my friend!! found 4ft sections of 3/4" for like $4... rated to 600V and 257*f
