Seeing sparks when reconnecting fuse, normal?

I was doing some work, rearranging my amp and subs. Just to be safe I disconnected the 80A fuse. I get everything wired back up, quadruple checked the wiring, no shorts or messed up ends. I go to put the fuse in and it starts sparking when it touches the holder. Is that normal? It seems like its making a circuit even with the amp off.

It's normal for there to be a minor spark when attaching the fuse or a power wire. However if the sparking persists you have a short somewhere. When installing something that may cause sparking try and make the contact as quick as possible so you don't get that sparking.

Alright i'm heading back downstairs to connect it. Il know in the morning if my batteries dead //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I was doing it in the dark so it scared the crap out of me, I thought I broke something (its not my truck lol). But its all good now, just had to put my serious face on and hold it down when it sparked. Thanks for the reassurance //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
