I wasnt trying to hate, i was just saying i like the sound of a box tuned lower than that. I dont like the peak frequencies in the mid-high 40s. But then again my cars resonant frequency is 36-37 hz, so i tuned low to help with that.

Why? After you've heard it, I'm pretty sure you wouldnt say that... 38Hz is just fine... This is a daily ground pounder that can throw up great numbers. It's the 9th loudest in the world in SS 3/4... And can still rip your head off... Thanks though for the suggestion...

Im not telling him what to do. Im just saying that I would hate if my own daily car peaked at 49hz. Its not about what youre tuned at, its the frequency response you have in the car thats important.

Most of the people on here probably have no idea what a 160 feels like. At 49 hz, it's not very comfortable...

blows my mind how people keep killing windshields at 160-62dB. I have only been thru 1 w/ god knows how many burps in that range. And the only reason it went was bad glue on the drivers side. Guess the shape of this dam Ram Van's windshield is the shit. Killed some subs though...lol. Still SB 157.8 on 5 subs out of 10...lol.

Besides galamonkey, anyone else saying stuff about TUNE IT LOWER, would throw up if they sat in this when u burped it at 49hz.
