What are the best security screws for amps? What kind of security screws could I use for a w7? Where are the screws that you need your own special tool key to take screw out? How do you secure a head unit into your dash? I dont get how people put a cable behind it? Are there only 2 screws holding up head unit when the outer plate comes off? What is the best security!

Although, in the larger cities crime is naturally going to be a problem. Security screws are good, stealth installs, etc. Hide your equipment, don't have anything out in plain view. No stickers. Remove your faceplate, if possible, at all times. An alarm is a good investment ... they're really not all that expensive to purchase now-a-days.

u could try this. i use their security bolts on my license plates.

my amps are hidden inside the extended cab walls of my truck.

a good idea would be to mount ur amp to the box and then mount ur box to the floor of ur trunk, then strip all the screws including the ones that hold ur subs to the box that way nothing can be stolen.

but then if they just decide to jab it with a screwdriver what do you do to get the sub out for a recone

i use allen when screws to mount my sub. kuz a typical theif only go's with a phillips and standard and a hammer(atleast when i ran one i took a hammer)

Thieves can take everything, where are there screws that theives dont have. I know there are screws with special tool attachment that only fits what you have for the key.
