Security Screws?

I will have some 1/4in. bolts for my amps, using t-nuts on a MDF amp rack, and just regular Torx/Phillips screws (Torx most people don't have the torx heads to take out the screw.

I use keyed screws which require the right size "bit" for my sub and amps. If a crook decides to crowbar my trunk (it is disabled from opening from the inside) and has the time to figure out what size bit to use...he may have a chance....My Viper will be alerting me from the moment he touches my ish... So...yes use security screws...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

I had security screws at one point but they kept stripping when I would torque down on them, plus I kept misplacing the ****ed bit.

Now, I just use hex socket cap screws like McMaster Carr part # 91253A022 . They don't strip easily and you can just carry a few small allen wrenches and have all you need to work on your equipment.
