Second SPG 555 or just use passive radiator

As I start to build my new box to add the second sub I began to wonder if it wouldn't make more sense to just add the radiator instead of adding the second sub. I already have the sub but have thought now maybe to sell it and add the radiator instead and put a little change in my pocket in the process.

Anyone have any experience with messing aroud with both setups? Seems the second sub would be best for known results but by using the radiator I can save room, save strain on truck electrical and save on money.

Are the radiators more form than function?

This will be in a 2005 Silverado ext cab with a sealed box and an Orion 2500D which gives me options to go either way.

Or maybe even do both and add the sub and radiator?

Great sub!!!!

The passive radiators work exactly like they should. Its up to you...You will get more momentary and potential output with two subs, but save room and electrical strain with the passive radiator.

I say mount the sub AND get the radiator. Go big or go home.
