Helpp i dont know what to do...

ok so i recently got a system but the subs are garbage and i knew this from the beggining but i liked the box. These are the subs.

The subs are only about 600w rms and i have a hifonics HFi1000 Hfi Series D-Class Mono Amplifier the specs are 1 x 475 @ 4 OHMS, 1 x 750 @ 2 OHMS, 1 x 1000 @ 1 OHM... i have these subs running at 4ohms right now. ok so the problem is... i want to put this amp up to 1 ohm but i dont know what subs to replace the duals with..? what subs go to 1 ohm? also can i still use the same amp wire kit? i bought this one..

MEMPHIS 8GKIT REAL 8 GAUGE AMPLIFIER INSTALL KIT

its a memphis 8 awg kit.. it says 300w i dont know why since i think i had it on more then that.

so overall.. i need to know what are some good subs for cheap that will go to 1ohm at 1000w.. and also what amp wiring kit to get..? if you have any websites of closeout or factory manufactured subs for cheapp let me know for sure.

also.. if i want to install another box of 10s could i hook the 10s and 12s up to the amp together? i know its a mono amp but im not sure how exactly that works...

Get yourself a good custom made box and decent subs and you will be in heaven.

Those subs and box **** beyond ***! Also dont believe those ratings, they are not right....

Like Kang said a good 4g kit should suffice, maybe by a little extra wire to do the big 3. I recommend 0/1g wiring for that. Google Big 3, or there is a thread on here about it. Helps with keeping the voltage up.

I would check into the classifieds section here for some good used subs. There are so many so with that said, need a budget and we could help you out better.

For the love of good, dont mix and match different sized subs, dont care if they are in a different box or not, it will sound terrible. Do 1-2 good subs in a custom made box and you will be golden.

ok thanks guys. so my budget is about 150-200 for the pair. I was maybe thinking of getting some 2ohm subs and jus running it at the 750. so what are some gud subs at 2ohms that will give me the most bang for my price range? i was suggested sum JL but they are too expensive.

Personally i buy subs online cause they can be had much cheaper, even JL's. You likely wont want to use that BP box again for another sub, probably sound worse if it doesnt damage them, so figure your box into your budget.

ok so if i build my own box, what subs do you think i should get for my price range? do you have any websites that have these at lower prices like yu said? bcuz amazon and everything like that taxes like crazy.. im not trying to pay retail you know.

just get a single sa-12 dual 4 ohm in a nice ported box. you will be happy

With that power, you could get a couple of 15"s that are 500-600w. Like AQ SDC's or DC Level 3's or Digital Designs 1515.

free shipping from a legit seller. get one of those, a sheet of MDF costs $30 at lowes, they'll cut it for you for a couple bucks and all you need is some screws and glue. contact RAM or buck for a design
