Dont laugh guys //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif but I have over 70 sq ft of Peel & Seal and eDead V.1 in my car.

I feel terrible. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Speaking of which.....Raammat wasn't designed to be the best mat on the market. It was designed to offer the highest performance available while maintaining a reasonable cost, to offer the highest value of price/performance. Which it does.

Is SS Damp Pro a great mat? Sure is. Would I ever pay 3x more for it than Raammat? Not a chance in hell. That small performance difference just isn''t worth it, IMHO. If your the type of guy that needs to buy the best of the best, just because it's the best.......more power to you. But being the "best" doesn't always make the most logical choice.

I dont see how SS damplifier is 3x the price?

Comparing Raammat and SS damp there about the same price. 60sqft of damplifier is ~$118+shipping While 62.5sqft of raammat is $120+shipping. The SS damplifier is also a little thicker.

EDIT:damplifier pro is $215 for 72sqft so i still dont see 3x the price? maybe 2x the price but your also comapring 60mil thick dampening vs 80mil thick stuff.

not trying to spam here, but 3 times the amount is quite the exaggeration...but....

if Damplifier were 3 times as much it would need to cost $5.96 per sq foot.. even Damplifier Pro is not that much. or Dynamat extreme even...

Destruction is apparently the type of guy who'd buy a Porche(sp?) just for the name, while I'd buy a modified Mustang with just as good of performance for 1/3 of the cost //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

porsche

and it'd work... until you hit one of those turn things they put in the middle of roads for whatever reason:D

Is it okay to put the RAAMmat on in the cold since winter is approaching and this will be my x-mas present to me.
Yeah rammat can go on in cold temps. Always a good idea to heat mats up though. Raamat wont need heaet, just help make it more flexable (this goes for all constraint layer dampers)

You can still get raammat for 99 a roll //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

Just out of curiousity. Why would I buy damplifier over raammat? What makes it better?

It comes out to be 25cents more each sq. ft. (with the 20% forum discount...this is the only one discount, correct?) I need some mat soon //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif.
