Regular Damplifier is now availble with a black annodized foil, just like Damplifier Pro.

The foil is 4.5 mils thick and the adhesive has an increased rubber content, just like Damplifier Pro.

What do you guys do for your trunk lids?

Do you cover the foil with carpet or something so it doesn't look bad? Or is this where the black foiled damplifer comes in handy?

I purchased Black Damplifier pro for the express purpose of installing it on the underside of the trunk lid in both of my vehicles. Hopefully I can get to it this weekend and post some photos/reviews up.

Sorry, but I just can't fathom using shiny aluminum on the underside of my trunk lids.

Here is a hint for Ant.... Black SPL tiles would have been SWEET too!

This is one of the reasons why we made the Damplifier Black.

A lot of guys dont upholster their trunk lids, so you end up seeing the silver foil. Many people get used to it, but it still can look tacky.

The black foil at least looks better if you don't use anything to cover it up.

I started on my Civic's trunk, but still haven't finished yet. I am surprised that this little bit of Damplifier Pro muffled the ringing from where the outer and inner trunk skin was tack welded together.

As I said earlier, there is NO WAY I am going to use shiny bright aluminum on a ***** trunk lid PLUS Second Skin offered the best product for the best price.
