dam now ur cutting me down saying i was cutting others down i was saying that y do others get celebrate and me notI do not expect you to understand. You are a pimply face high school kid with a very low IQ. You personally acknowledged that you associate the flag with race when you whined about Black History Month in the same breath as mentioning it.
Bigbowtie = racist.
EXCELLENT POINT!!!!You could talk about how people naturally segregate themselves every day, so why should we place such a big emphasis on racism.
i agree. while i was in the army i was stationed down at ft polk, louisiana. because of complaints about flags, bumper stickers, etc.... our commander told anyone who had them they had to come out or they would face UCMJ for displaying racist items. including a very good friends from SC who was black. he refused to take the rebel flag out of his truck and in turn he was given restriction to post and extra duty for 15 days.
hell if a black man who is proud of the south wants to fly the flag why shouldnt he be able to along with anyone else.
on another note the symbol that is most commonly used with Black Panthers the fist. there were a lot of those on windows of cars etc.... i dont take offense to them its a part of history that shows pride for blacks. point is they were not told to remove them. i know there were plenty of people who didnt like seeing them especially when they were told you cant fly your flag.
you didnt have to do anything leave it alone on the slavery seriously andd i never said i was a klansman and dont ever plan to be so dont be racist yourselfI would think that white people are not particularly disturbed by a black panther symbol because the black panthers never had a signicant impact. Slavery, on the other hand, defined the very existence of generations of black people and the vestiges of that system exist, to some degree, even today.
So what about you being black and other people who have committed crimes being black?I disagree. I think that it is useful to point out what type of people hold those beliefs. For example, anyone who sees the type of toothless tash that comprises the Klan today simply has to be inclined to disregard their views as ignorant. It's the same with this kid whose most signicant goal for the future is to put duct tape on his truck.
Oh it will rise again! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gifNorth won, get over it.
I think you need to worry less about that flag and more about your education. If you honestly do not see why black people can be offended by the flag then you have just not studied American history well enough. Either that or you just have not given it enough thought.dam now ur cutting me down saying i was cutting others down i was saying that y do others get celebrate and me not
morningwood=dum i actually do have friends of different race and we make fun of each other for it like they hang thier mexican flags and i dont care and they dont care about my flag so whats the big deal really your just dum and taking offense through some thing you didnt expeirence tho you look intelligent in you pic your certainly not showing it
So we are all held accountable for the past?I would think that white people are not particularly disturbed by a black panther symbol because the black panthers never had a signicant impact. Slavery, on the other hand, defined the very existence of generations of black people and the vestiges of that system exist, to some degree, even today.
There was a speaker who came around last year speaking on the topic. I didn't attend because I was probably getting drunk or stoned, but it sounded pretty interesting nonetheless.EXCELLENT POINT!!!!
its not that whites are disturbed by the symbol.I would think that white people are not particularly disturbed by a black panther symbol because the black panthers never had a signicant impact. Slavery, on the other hand, defined the very existence of generations of black people and the vestiges of that system exist, to some degree, even today.
So what about you being black and other people who have committed crimes being black?
Since they committed crimes and are black I should think of you as criminal because you're black aswell? Wouldn't I immediately be called racist for that? I mean I know my example isn't the best, but I think it gets the point across.
You think that, but are you sure about it? We don't really have any facts on reasons people fly their flags do we?Yes, but I think that most people like that ultimately understand that it is genuinely offensive to a lot of people and it sends a message that they do not intend to convey. As a result, they refrain from publicly displaying the flag.
