Same old shit, everyone is racist except the blacks who hate white people, afterall that is justified. They are still pissed that people they never knew were slaves, but if it werent for that they would be in another country eating off a plate in their lip.

Yeah slavery was bad thing, but if it werent for that your life wouldnt be as good as it is now. Life is what you make out of it, if you want to go about hating someone because of their skin color then be ignorant and do so. Personally I can find better reasons to hate someone than their skin color. Ignorance is the easiet and it seems to be abundant in posts related to this topic.

Lucky for us whites arent really known for causing riots and burning down their own peoples businesses when shit doesnt go their way. While you bring up "Nazi" lets look into that page of history, humm they tried to extinquish an entire race, not turn them into slaves, but kill them in ways that people couldnt even imagine. But do you see jews run around crying about it? No 50+ years later they have moved on and not let it hold them back. You should follow their example.

This I can agree with to an extent. I would never hang one as I have no South lineage.

I do find it ridiculous when people equate the rebel flag with racism. That's just ignorance. It's a stretch. Do some people who are racist proudly display it? Sure, but the flag itself is not a representation of slavery. It was the confederates flag and unlike popular belief the Civil war wasn't solely about slavery. It was one issue causing the rift but not the sole reason. It is a shame that in this day and age there are enough ignorant people to have some popular belief that it is a racist flag only.

Now getting back to your specific scenario, I could care less if the school lets you hang a flag in your truck or not. You are there to learn. Keep your flags and heritage at home. It isn't a requirement for you to attend school with your flag. If the school sees it as a disturbance and their only solution is to ban it, then so be it. It probably took your dad some time to get used them telling him he couldn't hang is shotgun in the back window when he was in school. Deal with it.
