ok im looking at buying an 07 silverado extended cab

subthump has a box yes pricey i know but screw making under seat boxes

well it is sealed with 1.13 per chamber two chamber

10 12 cutout or i can just double baffle the mount plate for what ever size cut out

or i can port each chamber to 30hz with 1 3inch aero and still have 1.06 per chamber

i dont have a specific amp yet but would like to keep it at 2500rms and under

any suggestions open to 10s or 12s maybe 8s

i dont really have a set budget but lets say under 400 a sub good suggestions can change this but thats the start line. and i will buy an amp to match the subs up to 2500rms cumulative

your nit going to find a woofer to handle that much power with a 6" depth..

it doesnt have to handle that power thats the biggest size amp i will allow in my daily driver. it can be 150wrms for all i care im looking for loud in tiny box. i wrecked my cruze which had 2 sundown z12 on a sundown2500 this was ridiculously loud i didnt meter it but it was an easy 150 with the back seats down at 55hz. it was easy with a walled trunk i miss it already //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

alpine type r 10's or sundown sa10 are about the best you can do. I have a 2009 crew cab not many options.If your looking for big power too your gonna run into electrical issues.

I vote 2 sa-10's in the ported boxes. Get the aluminum coil and being such a small box you can give it gobs of power. And they have a mounting depth of just 6"...

Pair of BL's ported would be nasty. Or a pair of q 10's tuned real low would sound awesome

i think having the extra motor of the bl will help for the small box application but the again it takes up more of the box in itself. i think im gonna pick up some bl tens and try and port them low. idk how the box is going to be but if i can fit the 3 inch port i think itll slam.
