sealed box for 18'' sub

How much room are you willing to give up for an enclosure?

I'd probably go with around 5-7 cubes per FU18, ported of course.

i don't care how much room i give up as long i can still put my amp and junk back there i doubt i will make it that big since it will be sealed

I wouldn't seal a FU, but that's just me. IIRC, even PA doesn't recommend sealed them.

yeah, if you need sealed, maybe you should consider a different sub? just my two cents

as long as the height of your trunk is 19.5" or more you should be fine. The width and depth can be changed around depending on what you want. I would also recommend ported.

but do you think my trunk would have enough space for a ported box. what other subs should i look into if i can't get a ported box. keep in mind i want an eighteen

How much room do you have in your trunk? What are the max dimensions of the room you're willing to give up?

6.5 cubes ported is good for the PA FU18 or RE SX18.

dont seal an FU. you have ~14.5 cuft so port that thing... I should be finished with the box for my FU 18 tomorrow and will post pics.

How would u set that up tho? He said his height is 15.5. Are they gonna be facing up or sumthin? If 15.5 is all u can do then u cant do 18. Think about it, 18 inches. U have 15.5. U would have to do some wedge type box or probably facing up
