ok so as far as skull rattling loudness, both in ported boxes with 1000 watts, would a 12 in. SE or a 15 in. solo baric L7 be louder?

For spl tones yes the L7, overall happiness SE - sounds better, gets lower, more efficient, looks better.

yea but i think i could live with the sloppiness of the L7 and it will be a 15, also i can make some badass boxes so i think i can make it sound pretty good.
