sd 2.5 12's vs 1 hdc3 15

Which one do you guys think would be louder in a trunk car sub back, port back, with about 1200 rms. Both would be about 4.5 cubes at 38 hz except the box for the 15 would be about 2 inches taller. To have the sd 2.5's would cost me about 30 more dollars would it be worth buying the 12's over the 15.

with only 1200 rms go with the 2.5, the HDC would want at least 1500 to get real loud, the 2.5 should bang pretty hard with 600 each tho.

I vote the SDC 2.5's.

My friend has (2) 15" SDC 2.5's and ran them on one AQ 1200D and it slapped pretty hard, added a 2nd 1200D and strapped them and it's loud as junk.

Plus like the above poster said, the HDC will want 1500+ to get pretty loud, and the SDC 2.5's will require less to get loud.
