Screwed on Ebay!!!!

I hardly ever use ebay..... I needed an amp for my Solobaric so I figured I'd check on ebay and them I found a Hifonics that would get the job done. I hit buy it now and paid for it right there on the spot. I have tried contacting the seller numerous times and he has yet to respond or send me the amp. He had 58 all positive feedbacks so I didnt think I had anything to worry about. I'm just posting this so everyone is aware because it looks like he has been selling some car audio stuff and I don't want this to happen to anyone else. $220 bucks down the drain....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

If anyone is good with tracking people like this down and would care to help me out I'd appreciate it. He apparently is from Delaware. BrettNickle is his ebay user name.

that sucks sorry to hear that. Did you use a cc to pay for the item through paypal. If you did call your bank and dispute the charges. I had to do this once cause the seller sent the wrong product. My bank took care of me.

I'm gonna do that tommarow because, I emailed him and told him this was the last day he had to get in touch with me before I took action against him.

I had the same thing happen recently.

I paid for something from this guy who had 96 feedback and 99.something +.

He never contacted me, or sent me sh** !!!!

I filed a PayPal complaint and it took a few weeks but they did refund my money. It was only $51 though...but still I got it back.

Contact PayPal and file a dispute now and if he ships you can always cancel the PP claim.

call me impatient but I would never wait a month. If the shipper gave out shipping terms then those should be met...most are able to ship out the same day of purchase or the next depending on which day its purchased. And no communication is another reason I wouldnt wait.

make your claim with paypal or your credit card. he should have contacted you back atleast once in those 2 weeks.

word to the wise, never buy from someone that doesnt supply their own pics on used items. that amp pic has sonic electronics watermark all over it, that shoulda been some clue to not buy, since you didnt see the actual amplifier he claims has been barely used for a month.....

if they are selling new, make sure their pics arent ripped from another site. and always try to contact the seller before the buy, so you know if he is responsive or not, so you know what you are bidding into.
