Ours close at midnight. Just about the only place that doesn't close near midnight here is waffle house. Stupid Katrina. Even Wal-Mart closes at midnight! And until like 3 months ago, they closed at 9! WTF!!!

I went to Chili's last night and ordered a cheesesteak. Since my gf had just ordered cheesecake, the waitress thought I said cheesecake, not cheesesteak. So when I got the cheesecake, not cheesesteak, I told her I said cheesesteak, and I got to keep the cheesecake for free.

I don't get it. Lied to you about what? The fact that they were closed? It sounds like he told the truth there (as evidenced by the fact that you are taco - less.) The time? It doesn't sound like you were relying on him for that.
Nonetheless, we all are anxiously waiting for an update after you have spoken with the manager.

He lied about the time. IT WAS 11:48!!

I talked to a shift manager today. IF you are waiting at 11:59, they still have to serve you before they can close. Supposed to go back and talk to the Store manager tomorrow.
