So they know about it...does the 16 year old have the power to tell her dad to fix it? No. Did she scam this dude? No. This is just being childish and immature and hurting this guys case IMO. Take it up with the local PD, get your money back, and call it a day.

yes that shit does kinda ****. I still get collection calls from people because of the money I got jacked for..

But how did posting pictures help him get his money back? IMO all it did was harass a family which had no knowledge of this BS. Yes the scammer should die, but what's next? Lets post pics of his whole extended family, I'm sure that will help. His pets too, because that will obviously accomplish something...

I understand that the scammer had some kind of recourse coming, I think this is just the wrong way of dealing with it. With all the wasted time of sitting here texting his daughters and what not, you could of been a couple steps closer to your money.

And my reference to his "case" was that harassing a scammer isn't helping. If you break my window, can I break your arm as recompense? One doesn't make the other one ok...

indeed. Puttin pictures about family and insulting them is not nice but if the scammer doesn't play by the rules, why should he expect anyone else to?

I disagree. I feel like the scammer should have at least bought himself some time if not paid up. Even now all he has to do is settle up and I am sure the thread will be gone. He chooses not to. I looked at the original correspondence between them and it was nothing but bullshit. I mean he had all this "personal" stuff coming up yet had the time to do a build. That's just wrong and he gets what he deserves. People have to learn or they will continue to do this shit.
