I just purchased a Palm Treo 680 online from a "dealer" . Well after the package was supposed to have arrived he says there is a packaging error and now i get this in my email "Thanks for the response and very sorry for the delay in mailing back. well it wasnt intended to be done. it was mispacakaging the sales rep that package your items has been scked because he made us distabilize after receiving the fault.Well all this items 2 palm treo 680,2units of Nintendo wii which cost $250usd per unit and 1unit of Nokia N95 vwhich cost $320usd, its not going to be easy to be called back, cos it will soon get to you.All we want you to do now cause its on hold now.We will want you to please do go and make the payment for the items.When it gets to you,do sell it and hold on to the funds and if you cant pay for all do let me know the one's you will like to pay for.

I think the misspelling was on the "dealers" part. Anyway, yeah, it sounds like a scam, especially if the misspelling and bad english were from the "dealer"

yes that is the direct quote word for word how he spelled everything. I just copied and pasted from my email. I did already pay and Im trying to get the listing for it now. It was listed as an ad. His spelling just became bad like that. before it was ok. His name is Antonia Adderly from San Antonio. Zipcode is 78215

Moneygram requires photo id and plus i looked it up with the white pages from that area.

You paid with moneygram?! That should have been red flag immediately! They even have a disclaimer that says "Dont send money through moneygram to anyone you DONT know." Why? Because, IIRC, they have no insurance program, or scam defense...your f*cked bud.
