How do you close an eBay account?? I have like two other ones opened from years ago that I would like to close.

Dont even have to close it, if they find against you all they do is freeze whats in your account, if nothing is in you just have a negative balance. They cant take money out of your bank account as that would be a felony on their part //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif after so many days of a negative balance they close the account and you can never open an account under that bank account again.

Paypal refused to give out his personal information. His city was listed in the ebay auction. I have his name and business name. I have contacted his local authorities and am faxing over all of the transaction informations.

What they CAN do is give him a negative paypal balance. That's happened to me before and the only time they can't do that is when the account is closed.

I've had a negative paypal acount. They try and contact you to pay the balance, but take no legal action to recover the funds.

Ebay won't give you anything. Paypal won't give you anything unless subpoenad by a department with authority (courts, police)

If you won the auction on ebay. Request the sellers contact information. You will get a name and address, possibly a contact number.

well even if they don't close their paypal, they can just zero balance it and then you'd not be able to get refunded until they have funds, if ever. happened to me with just a $13 purchase.

i got scammed on ebay to, i bought an indash screen and when it showed up i had it professionally installed and the **** thing kept blowing fuses, so i had them look at it some more and the **** screen started smoking, in th auction the guy said that it worked and everything was fine, well it wasn't, so i filed a claim with pay pal and of course i won, only received 175 bucks out of 600, never saw the rest of the money and this was a year and a half ago, so good luck

Yes ebay will give you his contact info (not address) if you request if from them...they have to because you have a legal contract/tranaction with him.
