Its a 4" voice coil its going to be power hungry, not unless you plan on doing a 4th order then 3k will suffice.

A 4th order will allow more bass:watts supply ratio? I have a VFL 150.1 and plan on using it for the SP4 15":uhoh:

A well designed 4th order is more efficient than a regular ported enclosure.
