Satallite Radio Question

My fiance has XM in her car and she wants to change over to sirius. My question is, are the anntennas the same between both providers or will a new antenna have to be installed if she choses to switch to sirius, I can not remember what the plug for the XM antenna looks like as I installed it 2 years ago.

Where are you getting your information, the only thing I can find on a possible merger was dated sometime in 2005, with nothing ever written about it after that?

It was on the news yesterday. I only listen to Fox but it was on there. A google brings it up but nothing is finalized yet.
