Sand Blaster

I need a sand blaster for getting surface rust off the frame of an old international scout

Sorry, I didnt have time to get a better picture

But I need some sort of blaster to get rid of that kind of rust. What should I be looking at?

is it really flaking or just a tiny bit? cant really tell.

sand blaster wont phase it unless you have it bead blasted. try using a wire wheel or grinder.

Not flaking, just pretty bumpy. Surface rust, none of it is rusted through.

Oh really? Hmm, yeah thats possible, but I was under the impression sand blasting would remove surface rust.

Id do the wire wheel also, thats why i asked about the flakage, flakes will tear off easy with the wheel. bumps may be a bit harder.

Ok, well they're buldged out, but not like a metal buldged its kinda flaky type opening at the top, but its not like a big metal flake.

IDK how to explain, ill have to get better pics tomorrow with a real camera, and just not my phone.

But wire wheel sounds like the way to go. WAY cheaper.
