I think Northern Cal has more trees but these wildfires make me think otherwise.

Cali is covered in tree's but the farther north you go the less people and most of cali is covered in forests. Those pics are a good accurate generalized representation of what california looks like though, from the desserts to the hills to the forests. like i said though hippies and tree huggers caused this fire...

I've been all through California. It's all the same. You can't even pick up on simple sarcasm? Before Katrina New Orleans was a bowl of coco puffs, afterwards Katrina just added the milk.

Kinda sucks being I thought San Diego is the nicest place in Cali.

heres one of my girlfriends neighbors...but her house was fine thank god

ours was too, it burned over 150,000 acres, killed 6 people, and burned down 31 homes.
Took 6 weeks to put it out. Also smoke was so thick, days looked like night several times a week.

1500+ homes destroyed

430k+ acres burned over 5 counties

$1+ billion property damage

6 deaths counted so far

Not exactly something I wanted Cali to win.

And yes, we generally do get brush fires every year but they're rarely this big.
