San Diego fires

sorry to hear about ur fires, but the difference between the 2 is that we have 9 Ridiculously large fires all aroud the parameter of san diego with couple of them AT MOST ARE 5% contained, and 10-20 fires poping up in random places due to spread and idiotic Arson... destroying not only wild life but peoples homes, 1 fire has taking almost 2000 Acres of land, couple are destroying thousands of houses and, people in the "MILLIONS" have been evacuated from there homes...but im sure you can campare this to a wild life fire

how are these fires soppose to happen?

good for you

no, last time it hapen it was in 2004, with like only 2 fires. NOW theres 9 with one fire thats the size of the 2. with random fires popping up, last time i counted there was 14...
i think you mean 200,000 acres. thats the last stat i heard on the "witch creek" fire. the harris fire is at over 70,000, and the others i dont know.

Somehow this will effect gas prices all the way in Michigan.
Somewhat

I've been there. Nothing special. People are weird as ****. Would never return.
Never been there, never had much desire to go

The fires happen to destory trees to allow new ones to grow. We don't get natural wildfires like you do here in TN so we do controlled burning to destory 1000s of acres to facilitate new growth.

I know what you mean by that cause people doing all the time with crops and farm fields.

??? san diego was in california, but you assumed the whole state is burning down...its just southern cali mainly san diego who has the ring of fires revolving around the city. but basically all of lower san diego from tecate north of the border all the way up to irvine.

on my way out of town i saw ANOTHER FIRE, by GOLDEN ACORN CASINO anyone know what that one is?

You called someone a moron for saying that looked like California, when it was San Diego. Last I remember San Diego was in California but I could've missed a hostile take over by angry Mexicans.
E-phuckin exactly...the whole state isn't burning down, just what the thread title is...go look and let me know what it says....

or if you assume thats what the whole state looks like i just found that kinda moronic. Its like the pics of new orleans and all those floods, and saying so thats what Luisianna looks like...

but i dont get what ur talking about taking over by mexicans...pretty stupid

This is a direct result of what happens when hippies and tree huggers get angry and wont let cdf clear out dead tree's and brush to prevent forest fires. The end result ends up being lots more money and a whole lot more pollution and loss of life then it would be to clear out the trashy dead fuel these fires need to burn like this...

I've been all through California. It's all the same. You can't even pick up on simple sarcasm? Before Katrina New Orleans was a bowl of coco puffs, afterwards Katrina just added the milk.

I do not see what's wrong with the anology. If I showed you a pic of Nashville, it would give a general idea of what Tennessee looked like.

For instance, all your land is in little squares and much more varaiation than I assume.

I thought it was all flat...more or less had no idea what anywhere in CA looked like.
