go **** it.
They fired these two radio personalities, Dick and Skibba, on the 7 - 11 pm slot claiming that the ratings were 24th in their time frame and that their material was too smart for san diegans. Free Fm (radio company) "couldnt justify" paying for them to stay on air even though these two guys were replaced by another pair of dudes who can be more or less be described as "tools".
the show dick and skibba had was the Dangerous Dick and Skibba show. Of course they werent talking about world politics and events but they were really entertaining. I have work everday at around 3-10 pm and these guys with Tom Lykus (dont like him as much) really get me through the day.
Also it was pretty obvious that these guys were the top rated show for their time slot. I mean they had a couple of bon fires they "sponsored" in which hundreds of people would show up at a time. Really stand up guys, dick and skibba, who were down to earth. Probably the last local guys who cared about their audience and now they are gone. Im really fed up with these huge, huge radio companies eating up all localities and literally screwing up american radio.
