I'm looking to pickup a smaller LCD HDTV (32") with a budget of $600 or less. I've narrowed it down to these two:
1) Samsung LN32A330 - $589
2) Sony KDL-32L4000 - $599
I'm a bit bias towards Sony as I have owned many Sony electronics in the past and all have proven to last long and have great quality. Also, Sony has been in the LCD business longer than Samsung. Compared side-by-side at Bestbuy, the Samsung looked brighter and more vibrant, however, the Sony looked a bit smoother. I also liked the exterior design of the Sony a lot more.
Which one would you go with and why? Also, please don't bring up the contrast ratio comparison as the ratings are irrelevant in cross comparison between two different manufacturers.
Anyone with experience with both or comparable TV's from these two manufacturers, please chime in.
Thanks.
