My headunit , a Pioneer AVH-P4100DVD stopped working a few days back and Mylows10 contacted me interested in purchasing the unit for "parts" or otherwise to get it repaired.

We agreed on a price of $50 + shipping for the AVH-P4100DVD.

Mylows10 paid immediately, and I shipped the item hours after he sent payment.

Here is a picture of the item being packed. It was sent via USPS Priority Mail, Saturday 1/18/14.

Got the deck today. Thanks. Just as described. But still doesn't power up. The good thing is tho. That my parts deck still works powers up perfectly. So hopefully an easy fix for this one

But, yes.. between your other deck that powers up but has a bad screen and no pre-outs I believe?.. And this deck that has a good screen and obviously pre-outs.. A nice working unit should be easily made between them. Not sure if your electronics guy will use my deck and transfer parts from yours.. or vice versa. Either way,.. much luck on it!

Well it's pretty much exactly what "we" collectively thought, and why you jumped on grabbing it for cheap from me. So you have a nice Headunit you can use or resell for profit, for what.. $100 total investment or so?

(no idea what your guy charged to replace the board with your other broken unit).

Again, that board was damaged .. had to be.. from G force.. from banging panels next to it back into place.. So while I'm sure it didn't work (as was advertised lol) -- I don't think it was an electrical "fry" of the board but more mechanical displacement or other such damage (wouldn't have mattered if it was off or on) -- Was off in my case.

Anyhow, again, glad it worked out exactly the way you had anticipated. Going to use it yourself?
