Safety bypass on Alpine IVA-D900... how?

Does anybody here know of any methods to get past the brake pedal/e-brake safety system on the Alpine multimedia head units (IVA-D900, IVA-D901, IVA-D300, IVA-D310)? I've got one coming soon and need to start researching how to do this.

I've seen the PAC7 modules on eBay, but not sure how they work. Are they an easy install? Worth the money? Is there an easier way that works just as well?

Thanks!

Ryan

I've been looking at the TR-7 instruction manual, it seems very easy, do I even have to do any programming to the unit, or is it just plug and play?
