Sad Day for Me

Well I got a call today from my parents telling me that my dog was very sick, and that they were taking him to the vet to see what was wrong. Well about 10 min ago, they called be back and told me that they had to put him to sleep. I have had this dog since I was 6 now im 18, and the worst part about the whole deal is that I didn't get to see him before all of this happened, and on top of that I hadn't seen him since september. Well I guess its time to move on.

That sucks man, although I never really got so attatched to a pet where I was depressed about its death....

But we just had to put one of our cats to sleep a couple months ago, the association for our development has each house sprayed for bugs and it got to the cat somehow and his body was just shutting down. It sucked, but I wasnt sad //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

**** ...ive got 2 cats and they are the coolest.....dunno what id do wt out em......sorry dude...most peeps say pets dont mean anything, but when u get attatched they are like another sibling

Being there is pretty terrible when it happens- my cat was pretty sick this summer, we took it to the vet, knowing we had to put it down. Doing that, driving there and back was soooo painful.

I had to bury him too. Faced him towards my room where he liked to sleep.

I feel your pain.

Hate to hear that man, but look at it this way, that dog loved you probably more than you loved him, which i am sure is substantial, and your parents did what was best for him. I'm sorry for your loss dude, I'd be a blubbering idiot if something happened to my dog.

hes so funny, hope you like the pic

your parents didnt handle that one well..........you should have had a chance to say good bye
Well I wanted to say good bye but I knew that he was in terrible pain, These last couple of months have been hard on him, He got in a fight with a pit bull (he was a black Lab) about a year ago, and he actually didnt do to bad against the pit, but still he had some war wounds. Also he was deaf for about the past 6 months. and on top of all of that the vet said that he had developed an alergy to DIRT and GRASS. Keep in mind that he was an outside dog. Im comming home this weekend to go to the SEC championship game, and They could of kept him on some sort of life support until I got in wedneday night, but I went ahead and told them to euthanize him, I knew that, that was the right thing to do.

I feel ya man.... when we had to kill our dog (she was 10 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif) i cried my brains out... what sucked even more, it was the day she got sick, and the next morning we had to go to Minnesota for a week. we had no other choice.
