well isnt their like 2000++ disc's? i looked at best buy and they didnt have much of what i liked and most of all their not even in store //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif so i guess im left with ordering online but i dunno where?

Yeah, very hard to find SACD of anything relatively contemporary.

Maybe we'll just skip over SACD and go right to DVDA.

Get a player that will do both SACD and DVD-A...

Then you don't have to worry about what format they are...

I received the Brothers in Arms CD by Dire Straits today. It is in SACD format. I used my Oppo Dvd player for playback. Frankly I was a bit confused by all that rear "thing" and dont know if I like my music in 5.1. I need to listen to it some more.

To each his own I guess...

Basically, the best thing with the 5.1 for music is that it separates the instruments even more and give you a feeling of sitting in the middle of the band playing.

I like my music to be 2 channel. Some SACDs have a 2 channel option BTW.
