SA 15 vs X12

which one would you guys choose. One SA-15 in 3.0cu net ported or one X-12 in 2.5-3.0cu ported. Both on 1.2k, for a daily setup,never burped.

If thats all the space u have to give up id go with the x12 ...thats a awful small box for a sa15

I figured that would be perfect for it since it would get double what its rated for. On sundowns site it recommends 3.0cu at 35hz.

They just work better in 3.5-3.75 .. if it were me id run the 12 for the simple fact that u wont be pushing it dbl its power daily...not sayimg it cant be done..i fed a pair of sa12s 2200 for 2 years

I'd expect the X12 to dig much deeper, and the SA15 to hit the higher region (40-60 hz) louder.

Yep, can't have everything. Gonna have to choose between more deeper lows or louder highs. For daily, the x-12 2.5 ported would be ideal.

You shouldn't put a 15 in that small of a box. It will be peaky and muddy.

They shouldn't be too far apart just in different frequency bands. I would also do the X12 for daily. What are your maximum dimensions?

Eh dimensions are hard to tell its not a normal box shape. Measuring everything out and things around it comes out to be L25xW20xH25 is the absolute max I'm willing to sacrifice. I've been thinking on the X12 for a while now just thought I could get close to the same performance and cheap out with the Sa.
