ahh that's good to know. it's so hard to decide what i want to work with sub/amp wise there's so many nice ones out there. but i know i'm going to have to have a custom box done. the way mine sits now it's literally shoved in there i would much rather have a custom box that correctly fits my car.

the interior paint IS a different color. It's metalcast metallic blue with a silver basecoat. It looks better than what i previously had.

My buddy has an rx8, Same year I think. He has 2 Kicker Comp VR 10's and a kx or zx 600. It sounds pretty good for the $$ spent.

Also, hes looking to upgrade the HU, have you found a good kit for that?

no i haven't. I was just going to leave my stock one on. If he finds one let me know. sounds like he has a good system. what color is his?

Metra has a new kit that is just about to come to market, should be in the $200 Us range for it. Go to http://www.rx8club.com and there is more than adequate real knowledge of your vehicle there if you can use the search button in the audio forum. If you are not going to be changing your head unit, use the Audio Control LC6i to integrate the aftermarket stereo to the stock stereo. Again, all this info can be found on the other forum.

i'm a member of rx8club.com i have their decal on my car. I just did a search and didn't see much maybe i wasn't paying close attention, because i didnt see anything about the kit. I'll check it out again thanks. Sometimes i overlook things.
