oh really? I didn't know that. for some reason alot of people out this way like rockford fosgates but i'm not a fan of those at all. i think they blow too easy

sub dont blow "easy".....if you send it clean power and dont overpower it then it wont blow

i do not use it for performance. i bought it used and it's had alot of mechanical issues and i decided to just use it for show. so i'm starting to enter car shows and trying to get other ideas to do and a system came to mind. my car is fixed, mind you but i don't want to push it.

well RF isnt horrible either but blowing a woofer is in 90% of the cases user error ie;dont have their gains set correctly .. but i still IMO dont like RF woofer either the power series amps are BADASS but expensive as hell im more of bang for buck type of guy that why i like AQ but there are so many brands that are as good and even better but AQ is not sub par by any means it IS a high end car audio manufacture

i see. I had some orions before as well those were pretty good but they got stolen out of my car.

my visonik is a 12inch and i'm sure if i had a bigger amp it would pound pretty good but it's cheap. Just something in there and I don't get the bass i really want. Do you think 2 10's would be good or one 12? i'm not sure which is better.

Image Dynamics are good for the $ as well. SSA subs aren't bad and Sound Splinter makes a good product. All of the above mentioned companies are worth looking into as well.

right now i have nothing. but i'm trying to save up. I have to pay some medical bills off before i really have extra. trying to get a 2nd part time job as well. I'm probably looking to spend around 500 or so but that's in the future.

i've done my first car show when i first bought my car and took 2nd since then i've done a few things to it as you can tell by my sig.

they have Kicker KS series coax's on sale half price this month. they would be a good start unless you wanted to jump into a component setup
