rust inside the motor??

I have a 15" SX and the threads inside the motor have rust on them. how can i get it off without messing anything up, or should i wait until it needs a re-cone..thanks for the help.

normal thing to see in many drilled poles..

don't worry about it... doesn't bother a thing..

if its really bothering you, i actually stuck a cotton ball into the pole piece and used a brillo pad to scrub off the rust, then i used pliers to remove the the cotton, =P
